Bedbugs and Blackbirds

Nature delivers many things. Food, air, water, clothes, fuel... the list goes on. But need we be so selfish? Simply the existence of such beauty can give the most desperate some contentment. From the tiny mites on your eyelashes (demodex folliculorum) to the osprey (pandion haliaetus) with a rainbow trout (oncorhynchus mykiss) clenched tight in its incredible talons, from the photosynthesising phytoplankton filling the world with life drenching oxygen to the vast blue whale (balaenoptera musculus) which depends on it despite its unwanted ability to swallow you, these things must be cherished, loved and cared for. Nature is not ours, we belong to it.
And I LOVE it.
